With the State-of-the-Art awards, partnerships are promoted as leading innovators for sustainable development. Applications are open until 30 June.
The P4G State-of-the-Art awards recognize innovative partnerships that have achieved measurable success in their approach to one or more of five UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Nominations of Danish partnerships are encouraged.
The winners will showcase their partnership and compete for the partnership of the year award to be announced at a recognition event on the sidelines of the UN Climate Action Summit 2019 in New York City, September 23.
“Winning the 2018 P4G State-of-the-Art Partnership of the Year Award was a powerful recognition. It has helped us build credibility for the value and importance of public-private partnerships and has assisted us hugely in our work replicating this with partners around the world,” remarked Marcus Gover, Chief Executive of WRAP, the leading partner for the 2018 P4G State-of-the-Art Partnership recipient.
P4G and a panel of expert judges will select a winner from the following SDG areas:
- SDG 2: Zero Hunger
- SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
- SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
- SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production (circular economy)
To qualify, a partnership must include at least one organization each from the private, public and civil society sectors and have achieved measurable impact in its target SDG sector. The global competition is open to partnerships in any country or combination of countries.
Nominate a partnership or apply for the State-of-the-Art award. Deadline is June 30.
