Momentum Gruppen Attends at HUSUM Wind 2015

Momentum Gruppen will, in collaboration with the Danish Export Association, be represented on stand 3B18 in Hall 3 under the Danish pavilion. We will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. during the exhibition, where we will present our services within procurement, management, and repowering of wind turbine projects.

Companies such as Vestas, Availon, Danish Commodities, Siemens, Deutsche Windtechnik Services, and several of our business partners will be attending the exhibition. With more than a 600 exhibitors and around 20,000 visitors the fair is one of the world’s leading within wind energy.

Danish Government Publishes Historically Low Bid for Offshore Wind Farm

This morning, Danish Minister for Energy, Utilities and Climate, Lars Christian Lilleholt, briefed the parties behind the 2012 Energy Agreement (the Red-Green Alliance, the Socialist People's Party, the Danish Social Democrats, the Danish Social-Liberal Party, the Danish People's Party, the Conservative People's Party of Denmark and the Liberal Party of Denmark) that Vattenfall has submitted the lowest bid to construct the 600 MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm at a tender price of 37.2 øre/kWh.

DONG Energy Takes Over U.S. Offshore Wind Development Project in New Jersey

At the offshore wind auction held by the U.S. Department of Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) on November 9, 2015, RES Americas Development Inc. secured the rights to develop one of the two leases that were awarded. The lease comprises an area that could potentially accommodate more than 1000MW of offshore wind.

Denmark Gets Cheaper Power from Offshore Wind Turbines

The winning tender for the wind farm Horns Rev 3 came from Vattenfall Vindkraft A/S who have agreed a price of 10.31 Eurocent per. kWh. In comparison with previous price assumptions, this means that Danish consumers will experience a saving of approximately 295 million Euros. over the next 11-12 years, which is the period during which the offshore wind farm will be in receipt of subsidies. Thereafter, the Horns Rev 3 facility will produce electricity at the market price and will no longer receive any form of subsidy.
