Wood Chips and Bark Can Power Your Boiler

Introducing ARGUS Vertical Hot Water Boiler - a new type of boiler designed and developed by Justsen

In 2017 Justsen has launched a new line of hot water boilers ARGUS Vertical, available in 1 MW, 1.5 MW, 2 MW, 2.5 MW, 3 MW and 4 MW execution for wood chips and bark. The line employs a district heating technology and is equipped with Justsen Watercooled Moving Grate System. There can be achieved up to 91% thermal efficiency. ARGUS Vertical design pressure is 6 bar(g) and design temperature is 120°C. The boiler has compressed air cleaning system, automatic deashing, modulating control and Internet supervision.

ARGUS Vertical boiler is designed with an extra-large radiation part, lowering the flue gas temperature to approx. 700 degC before the first boiler tube pass. This, and the fact the tubes are vertical, will reduce fouling in the boiler that can operate over longer periods without stops for manual cleaning. ARGUS Vertical, as all Justsen boiler systems, are designed, manufactured and tested according to PED 2014/68/EU.

Justsen has delivered its first ARGUS Vertical Hot Water Boiler in 2016 to Løsning Fjernvarme, a district heating plant in Denmark. With another ARGUS Vertical boiler being in progress this boiler line has proven its effect on district heating technology.

Justsen has been in bioenergy business for over 60 years, constantly developing and delivering the best solutions to their customers. Overall capacity range Justsen boilers are designed is 300 kW – 30 MW for all types of biomass.
