The ITW WindGroup is a global manufacturer of product solutions for the wind energy market.
ITW Windgroup and ITW Polymers Europe are working in partnership to bring the Densit materials into the market.
ITW Windgroup is engaged in the renewable energy sector by supplying turn-key ultra high strength cement based foundation solutions for use on both on- and offshore wind turbines and wave and tidal renewable energy solutions.
ITW WindGroup and ITW Polymers Europe have already provided foundation solutions for numerous offshore wind farms such as Horns Rev, Thanet and Bard. In total more than 2,000 grouted connections in offshore foundations have been made with the product Ducorit since the year 2000.
It is ITW Polymers Europe who handles all phases of offshore foundation projects – from engineering and planning, supply of grouting material and installation, to test sampling and documentation.
ITW WindGroup and ITW Polymers Europe are owned by the Illinois Tool Works group (ITW) which employs over 45,000 people world-wide.
The UHPC material Ducorit® has been a crucial structural component of foundations for offshore wind turbines, substations and met masts ever since the start of erecting windfarms offshore and we believe that this is the reason why our product has been chosen for new Taiwan projects.
Showing a willingness to move with the market and develop new products and solutions, ITW WindGroup has launched a new product series of Onshore Ducorit® material to be used in the assembly process of concrete towers and the undercasting of tower flange connections
No spillage during installation, a dust free working environment, a minimum of cleaning after demobilization, up to 3 installations per day and a project finished on time must be designated as a solid success for ITW and Ballast Nedam’s cooperation at the Butendiek project.
