Invest in Denmark

An investment consortium has acquired Denmark’s largest biogas producer, Nature Energy. The investment serves to consolidate Denmark’s pioneering position in green gas to grid production.

By fourth quarter 2019, a new subsea fibre optic cable system will bring more capacity, diversity and reliability to the connectivity of Denmark and provide a direct high-capacity route to North America.

With new subsea fibre cable projects already in place, Denmark is well on its way to become a powerful digital hub in Northern Europe. This provides attractive business opportunities for, among others, data centre companies.

The Danish electricity grid continues to be among the strongest performers in Europe when it comes to security of supply and cost level. Recent research shows that Danish consumers have access to electricity 99.99% of the time without the burden of high payments to the grid. This makes Denmark an attractive destination for energy intensive industries.

By 2050, there will be more plastic than fish in the sea if pollution continues at the rate it does today. Indonesia is the country that dumps the second-most plastic into the world’s oceans; a new Danish-Indonesian collaboration hopes to change this.
