International inspiration

The European Business and Technology Centre works specifically to introduce European companies to the Indian market, while Steinbeis Centre for Technology Transfer India is also focusing on transferring technologies to the country.

In collaboration, they arranged a pilot-project based on the two Indian cities of Guargaon and Chandigarh (both roughly the size of Copenhagen) and invited a number of international experts to the country for a workshop surrounding mobility patterns and initiatives. Insero participated in collaboration with Network of Automotive Excellence from Germany.

European examples hard to replicate

Insero's department Mobility mapped a number of mobility initiatives from two large European cities, Copenhagen and Barcelona, and presented them as an inspiration to the Indian cities at the workshop. Offhand, however, there is such a big difference between the whole mobility setup in Europe and India that a 1-to-1 conversion of the European initiatives is not feasible.

Both customers and workshop participants were very satisfied with the inspiration that they got from the presentation and Insero’s participation in the subsequent expert panel debate.
