Hydra-Grene has chosen the quality, safety and environmental management system Sherlock to keep track of its operations. Sherlock means that Hydra-Grene in Denmark and China will get the maximum out of their records, that important knowledge is collected and shared and that no work is lost or forgotten.

Hydra-Grene manufactures and sells hydraulic components and systems, technical hoses, etc. to be installed in e.g. wind turbines. In recent years the Danish firm has grown considerably and has created a great need for a system that keeps cords in many operations carried out each day by the 180 employees.

"When you increase the number of employees, there is a major challenge due to document workflow. We exist due to the knowledge and know-how of our employees, and therefore it is very important for us to pick up their experiences and make them available to everyone," explains Department Manager Henrik Vestergaard, who was in no doubt that the correct solution was to implement Sherlock.

Standard and specialized at the same time
Henrik Vestergaard has worked with Sherlock for 10 years in another company and has good experience with the system that he feels perfectly matches Hydra-Grene's needs. First and foremost, because Sherlock on one side is a standard system, but, on the other hand, can be tailored by ourselves to individual business needs through the configuration menu in Sherlock.

Technical Specifications
Sherlock runs on IBM Lotus Notes and on IBM XWork Server.
