THE NOFLOODS BARRIER KEPT THE FLOODWATER AT BAY IN JYLLINGE; DENMARK

When the storm Egon hit Denmark in the beginning of January 2015 and brought with it elevated waterlevels and floods,  the local authorities in Roskilde summoned Environment Solutions to assist them in protecting the area from flooding. In spite of heavy storm, almost 1 km of the NoFloods Barrier was successfully deployed. The barrier withstood the floodwater and protected the exposed area from flooding.

Also in the city Frederikssund, the NoFloods barriers were deployed with great success.

New Danish models assess the economic and fiscal impacts of climate policies
