R&D Project

EcoDrone project combines high-tech robotics with organic solutions for farming.

EcoDrone is the new project of Ecobotix, in collaboration with EWH BioProduction, the Faculty of Engineering at University of Southern Denmark and Department of Agroecology at Aarhus University. The aim of the project is to create a green alternative to the use of pesticide in agriculture, by using organic matter, to promote a healthier and sustainable crop development/growth.

The project is considered to have “high market potential and positive environmental effects” from the Ministry of Environment and Food in Denmark, which awarded it with the “Green development and demonstration” grant.

The final product can be completely customized to match specific needs and we believe this makes for a global potential use.

The results of the project will be beneficial not only for private businesses, but also for public institutions working to sustain organic solutions in the field of agriculture, internationally.
