2 MW Biomass Furnace in USA

Warwick Mills is a leader in the engineering of technical textiles for protective applications. Warwick Mills develop and integrate complex fiber composites for the most challenging safety applications.

Charlie Howland, the owner and manager of Warwick Mills was searching for a biomass furnace that

  • could burn VOC´s in the ventilation air from the factory
  • had very low emissions

Warwick Mills have a 2 MW Dall Energy furnace is in commercial operation, supplying steam to their factory.

A stack test in October 2014 verified that emsission from the plant are extreamly low.

Technical specifications

  • The plant uses ventilation air from the factury as combustion air. Hereby is the compounds in the ventilation air combusted.
  • The plant uses wet wood chips as fuel
  • The plant produces steam for the Warwick Mills factory
