In 2016 there will be 11 hydrogen filling stations in Denmark

The focus on a coherent system of hydrogen filling stations also support the introduction of a number of different hydrogen cars. In 2014 Hyundai introduced their FC-car, and this fall Toyota Mirai will be introduced in Denmark.

Mirai has a cruising range of 500 km, and a refueling time of about three-five minutes.

When driving a FC-vehicle the only emission from the car’s tailpipe is steam. Therefore, the focus on- and introduction of the FC-vehicles is a very important step towards meeting the goal of becoming independent of fossil fuels by 2050.

The hydrogen filling stations will be established in connection with a number of other filling stations owned by the Danish Company OK. Subsequently, the hydrogen filling stations will be a part of an already existing infrastructure in Denmark
