Bladt Industries join the Gode Wind-project

Dong Energy is investing 16.4 billion Danish kroner in the Gode Wind wind farm project, and Bladt Industries has been chosen to deliver the 97 foundations for the project.

“We are very excited to be awarded the contract for the Gode Wind foundations”, says CEO of Bladt Industries, Peter Rindebæk. “We have a long term working relationship with Dong Energy, and we are glad to be able to put our fingerprints on yet another European wind farm”.

The Gode Wind wind farm is going to be erected about 45 kilometers from the German coast in the North Sea, close to the Borkum Riffgrund 1 wind farm, to which Bladt Industries has delivered a substation and a jacket and are currently in the process of fabricating the 77 foundations.

The fabrication of the Gode Wind foundations will commence in the third quarter of 2014, and the wind farm is expected to be fully commissioned in the fall of 2016.
