Combined heat and power production

District heating

Next generation valve technology.

A radical new way of producing valves combined with laser weldings makes it possible to produce a valvebody in one piece. The new patented valve features a slim and compact full flow design which now ensures optimal insulation of the entire system. The patented seat construction secures optimal tightness and operation of the ball.

The valves are produced on BROENs new automated production facility in Assens in Denmark, where each and every valve is tested before leaving the factory - all to ensure the well known high quality of the BROEN Ballomax® heritage.

Furthermore each valve is marked individually with a unique traceable valve identification number and information about size, materials and pressure class. With the individual valve number individual process- and quality data can be traced for each and every valve.

The new BROEN Ballomax® is introduced in the dimensions from DN10 til DN50 – all PN25 - connecting with weld, flange, swivel or nut.

- The new valve is a milestone in our history and we are very proud of this new concept, says salesdirektor Jesper Boysen.

The valve has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award:

  1. Energy efficiency – designed to last!
  2. Compact design
  3. Optimized full bore valve
  4. Traceability - individual valve identification
  5. Patented Danish design – produced in Denmark
