Designing the largest organic biogas plant in Denmark
Renew Energy, in collaboration with Hans Jørgensen & Søn, will construct the largest organic biogas plant in Denmark, called 'Nature Energy Månsson'. The biogas plant will be located near Brande in Jutland close to Denmark's largest vegetable producer with organic production, Nature Energy Månsson.
Axel Månsson and the energy company Nature Energy has been working on this project since 2013. In September this year the final "go" from the authorities came, and on the 5th of October the parties did sign the contract with Hans Jørgensen & Søn and Renew Energy for the supply of the plant. Thereby, all the pieces are in place to realize the long-awaited construction.
The modern biogas plant will annually convert 150,000 tons of manure and vegetable residues to 6 million cubic meters of green gas and nutrient-rich fertilizer to organic fields.
"The project places high demands on intelligent design solutions, as there is a complex and challenging biomass mix. Renew Energy's know-how and experience with industrial scale biogas plants globally means that we can provide a tailored solution that meets Nature Energy's challenging requirements" says Lars Brodersen Holm, CEO of Renew Energy.
