Power-to-X: a key enabler of the green transition

When: 27 August 2020 - This event has taken place. WATCH IT ON DEMAND BELOW.

Where: Online

Power-to-X has the potential to contribute significantly to the green transition both in Denmark and globally, enabling an electrified society based on green energy sources.

Denmark is blessed with an abundance of one particular natural resource: wind energy. Decades of focus on renewable energy has meant that 46.9 per cent of the Danish electricity consumption was covered by wind energy in 2019. It is furthermore expected that that green sources will cover 100 per cent of Danish electricity consumption by 2028. As more and more renewable energy is added to the grids around the world, the need to store and transform electricity into other usages is growing.
