We are from State of Green, Confederation of Danish Industry and the Danish Embassy in London looking towards participating at this year’s COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland. At this point, the information we have on the UNFCCC setup in Glasgow is still limited, but we will at this meeting aim to share the information we do have on COP26 participation, negotiations and plans for a shared Danish platform.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR

  • This year’s COP26 will be held in Glasgow, Scotland 1-12. November 2021
  • The venue will consist of an official negotiation zone (Blue Zone) and a zone for the Non-Party members (Green Zone)
  • The COP26 UK Presidency is aiming to focus on five shared challenges within climate change 1) Adaptation and resilience 2) Nature Based Solutions 3) Energy transitions 4) Clean Transport and 5) Finance, as well as a theme focusing on Cities and the Built Environment.
